Canvas is an experimental hoppy beer series that serves as a bit of a playground for our brew team to try some different things from a recipe standpoint that are a bit outside the norm for us.
For this version, we’ve left our standard hazy IPA grain bill and hopping rates largely unchanged but have swapped out our house yeast for a new strain. We then dry hopped this one with Nelson Sauvin and Southern Cross from Freestyle Hops along with a blend of Citra and Citra Cryo.
Expect citrusy, tropical array of passionfruit, orange, ruby red grapefruit and pineapple with a soft pithy bitter finish.
